Hillary Clinton’s Diary: September 10, 2016.
Hmm… Rumors keep swirling about my health. And it’s gotten so bad that even NBC News reporters are shouting questions at me from the press line. What the hell? And stupid Rudy Guilliani keeps going on all the cable news shows like he’s Alex Jones or something. As I recall he ran for Senate until he had cancer(!!) and dropped out of the race. Then he tried to run for President but that didn’t go so well. I don’t get it! Arghh!
Well, tomorrow I’m going to Ground Zero to observe the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Whoo boy it’s going to be hotter than a firecracker out there. Global Warming anyone? God, I’m going to have to stand there for more than an hour in the sun. I better remember my sunglasses. Whatever. I have to be there no matter what.
The campaign is going well. I think the polls tightened recently. But that’s natural. No big deal. Oh, this is laugh out loud funny. Last night I said half of Trump’s supporters are in a basket of deplorables! Ok, I know that was a little too much so I walked it back some. But “basket of deplorables,” you know that went viral right away!
Oh and just so I make a note, I had to check in with the doc yesterday. And what do you know, I have pneumonia! Talk about laugh out loud funny! Or maybe the appropriate term is “ironic.” I just laughed when the doctor told me. Could this election get any more crazy? I’m not going to tell Robby. He’ll just FREAK! I love that guy but he’ll want to tell the media, scrub the 9/11 event and come up with some kind of “strategy” to head off any negative press coverage. Bless his heart but I’m just gonna power through. — H
